We know all you ladies tend to rush into a classic ponytail or a bun as a means of jumping to an easy hair updo. But, did you know that there’s a quite a lot of choices you can actually try out when it comes to quick updos? Why don’t you shake yourself off from your lazy hair habits and reinvent yourself for casual outings with a new easy updo?
The Braided Brooch
The easy-to-do braided brooch that’s trending among busy working ladies in the town these days? Take a small section of your hair behind the bangs and separate it into three strands. Make French braid out of the three strands, pulling it away from the scalp after braiding it a few inches down. Leave one or two inches in the end and set the braid with a band. Then, loop the braid up towards the top of the head, and leave few inches loose at the end. Create a brooch like coil by twist the remaining section of the braid back into the first loop. You can use a big bobby pin to set the braid in place, and a light hold hair spray to set the style. This up do can be flattering on both casual or dressy occasions. Give the usual braid a break!
The knotted Updo
Get a small section of hair at the top of the head and separate it into two sub sections. Tie rather a loose knot with the two small strands twisting the front section over the top. Then, tie loose knots all the way around the head, making sure you snatch the loose ends from the earlier knot into the chain. Keep doing until the nape of your neck enfolds the braid and until you reach the side opposite to which you started. Knot the strands into a loose side strand and set it with a band. Twist the end of the strand, wrapping it into a loose bun at the end of the neck. Set it with two bobby pins. Pin all the loose strands into the knotted chain. If the chain looks messier, do not try hard to make it neat as this style does not require to be neat.
The Embellished Topknot
Give your same old boring topknot a touch of modernity. Make a higher ponytail, and separate it into two even strands. Set a long thin strand around the base of the ponytail. (If you have time secure it with a woven strand.) Secure the strand with a pin at the end of it. Wrap the both strands around each other, making sure that you wrap the covered section around the front of the topknot. This is as easy as an ordinary topknot, and a lot more stylish and quicker.
The Rope bun
Well this can be perfect for traveling! Especially for a beach holiday, or a hangout, or may be a dinner. Make a low ponytail on one side of your head, and divide the ponytail into two equal sections. Coil both sections of hair away from your face. Take the back section and bring it in front of the other section and repeat. Keep bringing the section that is in the back over and in front of the other section. This is how you make a rope braid. Set the end of the rope braid with clear band. Wrap the braid in a circle around and make a bun. As simple as that!
Keep yourself cool from the summer sun with easy up-dos like these, and inspire your friends in the office to try out a fresh new quick up do. Together make a difference!
